A new life is just a phone call away!

Devi's life isn't turning out at all like she wanted. She wasted the past three years going out with Bryan—cute, adorable, break-your-heart Bryan. Devi let her friendships fade, blew off studying, didn't join any clubs . . . and now that Bryan has broken up with her, she has nothing left.
Not even her stupid cell phone—she dropped it in the mall fountain. Now it only calls one number . . . hers. At age fourteen, three years ago!
Once Devi gets over the shock—and convinces her younger self that she isn't some wacko—she realizes that she's been given an awesome gift. She can tell herself all the right things to do . . . because she's already done all the wrong ones! Who better to take advice from than your future self?
Except . . .what if getting what you think
you want changes everything?

(Synopsis from Goodreads)

Willa's Rambles:
Devi is recovering from Bryan, stressing about college, trying to ignore the fact that her father is working for himself (which isn't going well) and that she has no friends. So when she can change everything by telling younger her not to do a couple of things, why not? But then young Devi (or Frosh, as they nickname her) make a couple of her own changes, and senior Devi's (or Ivy) life changes as a result, Frosh must change what she has done and follow only Ivy's directions.
The mistakes and combinations that occur in this novel are hilarious. Ivy's college changes... 4? 5? 6 times? Simply because of the work ethic, extracurriculars, and mistakes Frosh makes. It's interesting to see how every choice you make impacts your future.
Both Frosh and Ivy have their own quirks, and they butt heads occasionally in the novel. My favorite of the two is definitely Frosh, simply because Ivy was... Well, you'll find out when you read it. When they are testing the things that they can do, Frosh and Ivy get giddy with excitement, which is definitely my favorite portion of the novel.
Ever wanted to change something in the past? Well don't drop your phone in a fountain. That's all I'm saying.
