And now for the Review.

Book Review: Delirium
Book by: Lauren Oliver
Review by: Willa Smith
Release Date: 2011 (already published)
Publisher: Harper

Ever since Lena's mother died, and her father disappeared, she's lived with her aunt, uncle, and two cousins, desperately awaiting her cure for the disease. The disease is love, or amon deliria nervosa, and she will be cured on her birthday. When she is cured, she will find a match, and will be married after college. As the cure creeps closer, Lena's best friend starts acting differently, entering No Trespassing areas, going to parties (forbidden by the government), listening to music not permitted, asking questions that she's not supposed to be asking. Lena becomes scared, but when she meets Alex, something changes inside of her. After meeting him multiple times in secrecy (you aren't supposed to touch a boy, or talk to one until you are matched) she realizes that she has amon deliria nervosa, but isn't worried. She loves Alex, and will do anything to be with him. Then, she learns a secret, one that could sabotage their relationship, but will Lena's cure come first? And if it does, what will become of them?
Lauren Oliver's new book is amazing. I read it in a total of 3 and a half hours. Delirium pulls you in to their society, one afraid of love and what it can do to you. An amazing read, and 4 1/2 stars from me!
