Vanessa the best friend turned backstabber
Gregory the guy who's a total(ly hot) mistake

Willa's Rambles:
*CAUTION! IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THE FIRST BOOK (and preferably the second), PLEASE DO NOT READ!*
This novel is the sequel to The Ivy which I reviewed after purchasing the book on my trip to New York City at The Strand. If you haven't read my review, or if you would like to see it again, you can see it here. This novel was a hilarious and perfect way to pick up where we left off with Callie, Vanessa, Clint, Gregory, Matt, OK, Lexi, Mimi, Dana, and all of their friends! There was more Callie+Clint drama, and more of Callie making decisions where you want to shake her b her shoulder and yell, "WHY?!" multiple times.
I already addressed Callie and her characteristics, so I'd like to talk about the Callie+Clint situation in depth. When Callie and Clint began dating in The Ivy, I was a total cheerleader and despised Gregory until Clint went over the edge with the Callie+Gregory situation, but I have to say, Clint definitely redeemed himself in the sequel! Over the Thanksgiving Break both Callie and Clint have thought in depth about their relationship, and while Callie has some issues with their relationship (ah-hem, Lexi) she still knows how much she values Clint and how much she wants to be with him.
In this installment though you get to see how much Clint values Callie! We see how much Clint really cares for her, and how much he wants them to be together. But, Lexi as always, causes massive issues for Callie and anyone in her love life with a piece of information Callie would really prefer not getting out. So, as always, Callie is having to juggle her feelings and their implication plus Lexi's constant watchful eye.
Calli proves herself to be a character with depth, and you learn more about each of the characters. Plus you get another round of laughs with OK and his frightful ideals. Having Mimi in the room really causes problems for OK when he's trying to study for math. That's all I'm going to say. After all, some secrets are better kept that way.
AN ANNOUNCEMENT:
After much deliberation, I have decided to not continue with my star ratings because of some personal reasons and commenter opinions. I hope this doesn't cause any problems, and it you would like a star rating, check out my Goodreads account where I rate my books.
